Transfer of Ohio State commit Jyaire Brown gives Lakota West football top junior talent


CLOSE Lakota West adds top Ohio State recruit Jyaire Brown from Louisiana Cincinnati Enquirer WEST CHESTER – On April 22, Ohio State’s 2022 recruiting class got stronger with the addition of defensive back Jyaire Brown. At the time Brown played for Warren Easton High School in New Orleans, Louisiana. Then June 9, Lakota West High School football got stronger when Brown announced he was moving and transferring to play with Coach Tom Bolden’s Firebirds, Originally from Cincinnati, Brown’s family is relocating and he’s expected to be eligible under Ohio High School Athletic Association transfer rules involving a bona fide change of residence. Originally from the area, his brother Lonnell played for Bolden at Colerain. Lonnell was a teammate of current Lakota West assistant L.A. Ramsby.
