The Ohio State staff is still working hard on their spectacular 2021 recruiting class, but they are also working hard on 2022 recruiting. And that is the focus of this article. On Thursday I had my Ohio State “wish list,” my Top 6 targets on the offensive side of the ball for the Buckeyes. Today I have my Ohio State “wish list” for my Top 7 targets on the defensive side of the ball to add to Ryan Day’s 2022 recruiting class. I also look at where the Buckeyes stand with each of these prospects. Day, Director of Player Personnel Mark Pantoni, and the Ohio State coaching staff currently have the country’s No. 1 2021 recruiting class and are working on the same type of class for 2022.
