The weekend of June 12-14 was going to be a huge recruiting weekend for the Buckeyes with most of their verbal commitments planning to make their official visits that weekend plus a number of their remaining top targets including Lexington (Ky.) Douglass offensive lineman Jager Burton. Burton not only won’t be able to make that visit, but with the NCAA extending the dead period until at least July 31, Burton won’t be able to visit any schools for quite some time. So, Burton had continued to say he still wanted to announce his decision on his birthday which is Aug. 24.
