Kyle McCord, Ohio State football 2021 commit, honored as member Elite 11 class: Buckeyes Recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s 2021 quarterback commit Kyle McCord is officially a member of the 2020 Elite 11 class. He joins Justin Fields, C.J. Stroud — who took home MVP honors in their respective years — Dwayne Haskins and Tate Martell — who’s now at Miami (Fla.) — as futures Buckeyes to make the final list.  After reportedly having an inconsistent first day, five-star recruit rated as the No. 24 overall player and No. 3 pro-style quarterback responded by winning the second day as the top performer during the Pro Day. His score of 45 points trails only Stroud all time and ties with Alabama’s 2020 quarterback Bryce Young. He shot up from No. 8 in the rankings to No. 3 following the performance.
