Kyle McCord, Ohio State football 2021 commit, wins Pro Day on second day of Elite 11 competition: Buckeyes Recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — For a second-straight year a future Ohio State football player put together the best performance at the Elite 11 Pro Day. Five-star quarterback Kyle McCord of St. Joseph Prep in Pennsylvania score of 45 out of 57 possible points was the best of the 20 participants. His score is second only to 2020 early enrollee C.J. Stroud’s 50 points last summer. Stroud used that score to catapult his recruitment while also taking home MVP honors. The Pro Day competition puts quarterbacks through the same process they will experience when preparing for the NFL Draft. Recruits go through interviews with the coaches before being required to put together an on-field performance. Each throw is rated on a scale of 0-3 points on 19 throws.
