Upon returning for fall semester, all Ohio State University students, employees and visitors at every campus must wear masks when entering enclosed or indoor spaces, including buildings and shared vehicles. Masks must also be worn outdoors when a physical distance of 6-feet between others cannot be met, according to a university-wide email sent by Bruce A. McPheron, executive vice president and provost of Ohio State, and Dr. Hal Paz, executive vice president and chancellor for health affairs at Ohio State and CEO of The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. Every student and employee will also have to complete a health check to test their body temperature and health status each day they arrive to an Ohio State campus. The checks will be reported via the Ohio State mobile app or compass.osu.edu for the university’s academic community.
