Aaron Craft’s basketball career at Ohio State has similarities to J.T. Barrett’s football career: Buckeye Take


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Aaron Craft quite possibly played his final basketball game on Wednesday when Carmen’s Crew was upset in the second round on the TBT Tournament. On a team littered with players from some of Ohio State basketball’s best moments under Thad Matta, Craft was the point guard since arriving on campus in 2010. First, as a four-year player amassing a 99-37 record — 52-20 in the Big Ten — while winning two Big Ten Championships and a trip to the Final Four in 2012. He then helped Carmen’s Crew win its first TBT Championship in 2019. He’s arguably the player that best defines the Matta era at Ohio State even if he wasn’t necessarily its most talented.
