Penn State freshman offensive tackle Olu Fashanu is a finisher in the run game, and he has a ton of highlights that end with his opponents on the ground. He has so many, in fact, that they greatly outnumber the part of his video that is perhaps most intriguing of all. Fashanu was a left tackle in a run-oriented attack, so he didn’t get to show how good he has a chance to be in pass protection. Fashanu is nimble and balanced and can anchor himself to stonewall opposing pass rushers. He will have room to grow in that area, of course, and still has a long way to go from both a technique and footwork perspective, but Fashanu has the early makings of a left tackle prototype.
