
COLUMBUS, Ohio — The number of 2021 defensive back targets are dwindling for Ohio State football, and the Buckeyes’ list might continue to shorten this weekend. Four-star safety Kamren Kinchens will be announcing his commitment Saturday, and 247Sports’ crystal ball predictions do not point toward the Buckeyes. All three of the predictions have Kinchens committing to Miami, which is about a 25-minute drive from his high school Miami Northwestern. Along with the Buckeyes, Kinchens also has offers from Auburn, Texas A&M and Alabama among others. Kinchens is the No. 299 overall prospect and No. 20 safety on 247Sports. With the Buckeyes losing former commit Devonta Smith to Alabama, Kinchens is one of the remaining targeted DBs.
