Buckeye Bits: Ohio State wants you to wear a mask (and you should), impacts of a conference-only football season, more


I’m not gonna lie to you, things have definitely been better. As a large portion of our country continues to ignore the reality of the COVID-19 pandemic, our chances for college football being played in the fall have dwindled. At this point, the absolute best case scenario is that Ohio State will get to play its Big Ten schedule, but that would require a drastic change in the country’s approach to handling this virus. If you won’t listen to me or the countless medical experts across the globe pleading the American people to wear a mask, maybe you’ll listen to the Buckeyes: Sports are the reward for a functioning society, and I wouldn’t exactly classify our efforts as such at this current moment.
