The 2019 season was another good one for Ohio State. While the Buckeyes entered the year with some uncertainty, after the retirement of Urban Meyer and the appointment of offensive coordinator Ryan Day to head coach, his first such head coaching position, there were some out there who questioned the Scarlet and Gray, with the unofficial media poll failing to pick them to win the Big Ten. Ohio State proved all the doubters wrong. The Buckeyes ran through the Big Ten and the regular season, completing a perfect 12-0 regular season, defeating rivals Michigan for an eighth straight time in the process, and winning a historic third straight Big Ten championship with a 34-21 victory against Wisconsin in Indianapolis.
