COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State football program is one of four in the country with multiple commits in the 2022 recruiting class as it debuts at No. 2 behind LSU in the rankings. 247Sports put out its initial composite rankings for the class though none of its three commits are ranked inside the top 100. Defensive back Jyaire Brown was the first player to join the class in April — and has since moved from New Orleans back to Ohio — is the highest-ranked player in the class. As a four-star recruit, he’s rated as the No. 113 player and No. 14 cornerback in the class. He’s followed by C.J. Hicks as the No. 118 player and No. 8 outside linebacker while Tegra Tshabola comes in as the No. 144 player and No. 15 offensive tackle.
