
COLUMBUS, Ohio — TreVeyon Henderson, a five-star 2021 running back and Ohio State commit, had his career at Hopewell High School in Virginia over before his senior season began. The Virginia High School League announced that the season wouldn’t be played in the fall, and though there are three potential alternatives, none will include the nation’s top running back — as well as two other top-20 players in the country. Tony Grimes — the nation’s top cornerback — took that as an opportunity to graduate early and join North Carolina’s program as a member of the 2020 class. Five-star offensive lineman Tristan Leigh — who plans to release a top-five soon — probably won’t decide on a school until the All-American Bowl on Jan. 2.
