Jordan Hancock, 4-star cornerback, commits to Ohio State football: Buckeyes recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s 2021 recruiting is back to 19 commits after landing defensive back Jordan Hancock of North Gwinnett High School in Georgia. This decision comes just five days following the four-star recruit’s decommittment from Clemson after joining the class in March. He is the first player out of Georgia to commit to the Buckeyes since 2019 when they brought in running back Steele Chambers and offensive lineman Harry Miller. Even though Hancock committed to the Tigers in March, Ohio State never stopped recruiting him. That includes the 2021 class, who have long voiced their aspirations of flipping the Georgia native rated as the No. 77 overall player and No. 6. a cornerback in the class.
