COLUMBUS, Ohio — Thirteen five-star recruits populate Ohio State football’s 2020 roster, and at least 11 of them are accompanied by the legitimate question — Just how good could he be? Talent and anticipation are part of every season for the Buckeyes, but there is particular curiosity around this roster’s elite potential. According to the 247sports.com rankings, dating back to 2000, there have been 43 five-star recruits to choose Ohio State out of high school. Of those 43, over more than two decades, 30 percent are Buckeyes right now.
