Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports) After five seasons with the Denver Broncos, former third-round pick Jeff Heuerman was released, the team announced Friday. Prior to Heuerman’s tenure in the NFL, the Barron Collier graduate played at Ohio State, where he was a part of the Buckeyes’ National Championship team in 2014-15. Ohio State trounced Oregon in that game, 42-20. Heuerman also received a ring after the Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50, but missed that season after tearing his ACL in rookie camp.
