Wade has 'no second thoughts' about returning to Ohio State

In January, Shaun Wade thought long and hard about declaring for the 2020 NFL draft. But, in the end, Wade believed he could improve his draft stock and become a surefire first round pick by returning to Ohio State as a fourth-year junior. The game plan had been set before him given the way his fellow OSU cornerback starters Jeff Okudah and Damon Arnette were each selected as first-round draft picks in this year’s draft. But the Coronavirus pandemic has changed some of the dynamic. Ohio State will begin practice Friday to prepare for what the Buckeyes hope will be a 2020 football season. News came out Tuesday that Minnesota wide receiver Rashod Bateman would opt out of this season and begin preparations for his professional career.
