CLOSE Ohio State will play host to Michigan on Oct. 24 and is scheduled to open its 2020 season on Thursday, Sept. 3, at Illinois, the Big Ten conference announced when it revealed its schedule Wednesday morning. Ohio State has played Michigan in its season finale every year since 1942. The Buckeyes’ second game will be Sept. 12 at home against Rutgers, followed by games at Purdue and at home against Indiana before a bye week on Oct. 10. On Oct. 17, Ohio State will play at home against Nebraska, followed by Michigan State (away), Michigan (home), Maryland (away) and Penn State (away) before a second bye on Nov. 14. The Buckeyes will finish its regular season against visiting Iowa on Nov. 21. The Big Ten announced on July 9 that its teams would play a conference-only schedule.
