Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields has been carrying high hopes ahead of the 2020 college football season after a breakout year with the Buckeyes in 2019, but the aspirations for the star signal-caller and his Buckeyes teammates are now on hold — at least until the calendars turn to 2021. The Big Ten Conference announced on Tuesday that it will not play football this fall due to the COVID-19 pandemic — the conference hopes that a spring season will be viable — and it didn’t sit well with the Heisman Trophy hopeful.
