Penn State football fans ‘very bummed’ about Big Ten’s decision to postpone fall sports season


A week ago, David Rosenberg of Susquehanna Township, told PennLive that he would be surprised if Penn State played football season. It turns out, he was right. The Big Ten conference, which includes Penn State, announced that it would not be having a fall sports season in 2020. That season may be postponed to spring 2021, but no decisions on that have been made yet. It will be the first time in history that the Big Ten has canceled a season before it even began. Just because he was right, though, doesn’t mean he’s happy. “I’m very bummed,” he said. “It’s very disappointing that I won’t be able to get a college football season. It’s my favorite sport.” Rosenberg follows the team religiously, keeping an eye on recruiting and off-season as intently as he watches the games. “The fact that there won’t be any sport this fall is really shocking,”…
