Ohio State football continues early push for Florida tackles with offer to 2023 prospect TJ Shanahan: Buckeyes Recruiting Roundup


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football has made an early push to get into the mix for some of the top 2023 prospects in the state of Florida. The particular target has been offensive tackles. Three of OSU’s four offensive tackle offers have been to Florida prospects. Among them is TJ Shanahan from Orlando. The Buckeyes offered the 6-foot-4, 300-pound rising sophomore back on July 27. Shanahan told Cleveland.com that Tony Alford has been in contact with him multiple times and that Alford was the one who offered him. “It really means a lot,” Shanahan said about getting the OSU offer. “Growing up, I really liked Ohio State. Watching them on TV and watching Urban Meyer, I know they’re an amazing program. They always produce the best athletes.
