No. 1 recruit Jack Sawyer to skip final high school football season, seek early enrollment at Ohio State


2:44 PM ET With the status of high school football in Ohio still up in the air, the top-ranked prospect in the country has decided he will forgo his senior season and train for early enrollment at Ohio State. Jack Sawyer, a 6-5, 230-pound defensive end at Pickerington North High School, has been committed to Ohio State since February 2019. He had planned on enrolling at Ohio State in January, but he now is taking his senior season off to train for college. Thankful for the awesome 3 years playing for Pickerington North.
