Ohio State linebackers coach Al Washington has been spectacular with his 2022 recruiting including landing linebacker Dasan McCullough who today announced a commitment to the Buckeyes. McCullough joined linebackers Gabe Powers from Marysville (Ohio) and linebacker C.J. Hicks from Kettering (Ohio) Alter to give the Buckeyes a spectacular trio. And now the Buckeyes also have a 5-star linebacker among the trio. With the updating of the Rivals rankings, Powers has move to a 5-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite player rankings. Powers is now a 5-star prospect in the Composite, the country’s No. 33 overall class of 2022 prospect, the No. 1 outside linebacker and the No. 1 overall prospect in the state of Ohio.
