Ohio State football players won’t get a chance to play this fall. The Big Ten canceled the fall football season and is focused on making a winter season work in the hopes that the COVID-19 pandemic is more under control by late January. This means that players in their last year with the Buckeyes may not receive the opportunity to play their final season of college football and show what they can do. Despite the Big Ten hoping a winter, as opposed to spring, season would allow for NFL hopefuls to suit up and still participate in the draft, many players, including the seniors, may not want to risk potential injury issues. But a number of seniors should get a chance, if they do elect to skip any possible winter season, to at least demonstrate their abilities in the invite-only postseason All-Star games.
