
COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Associated Press preseason top 25 poll was released on Monday, and nine of the 25 teams won’t be playing football this fall. Six teams from the Big Ten made the top 25, as did three from the Pac-12. What exactly does that mean for the quality of both the planned fall season, which for now includes teams from the SEC, ACC and Big 12, and a possible winter season, as the Big Ten and Pac-12 work on plans for playing a season that starts some time in 2021?
