
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s 2021 recruiting class needs another defensive tackle, and it could find on on Thursday in Virginia defensive lineman Tyleik Williams of Unity Reed High School. The four-star recruit rated as the nation’s No. 159 overall player and No. 10 defensive tackle announced that he is ready to make his decision. Within minutes of his announcement, three crystal balls in favor of the Buckeyes popped up on his 247Sports profile. His addition would be the 19th commit for a class that hasn’t added a player since cornerback Jordan Hancock’s commitment on July 19. Ohio State’s need for another interior defensive lineman became more prevalent after the loss of Tunmise Adeleye, who though listed as a defensive end, could have swung inside.
