COLUMBUS, Ohio — Every report on the future of Big Ten football seems to bring a new wave of confusion and skepticism along with it. Friday brought a series of reports across the Midwest that the Big Ten is considering a) the January plan first pushed by Ohio State coach Ryan Day, b) starting as early as Thanksgiving and c) maybe starting as late as mid-February after the Super Bowl. Oh, and since those discussions have not yet reached the president/chancellor approval level, who knows if any of those potential plans will get off the ground during the coronavirus pandemic?
