Ohio State DT Haskell Garrett injured in shooting

Ohio State defensive tackle Haskell Garrett suffered a non-life threatening injury in a shooting early Sunday morning according to Columbus Police, via a report from 10TV. Officers responded after midnight to the 400 block of Chittenden Avenue for a reported shooting. Garrett was transported Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and is in stable condition according to the news report. Garrett, a senior from Las Vegas, was found injured by police around 12:28 a.m. on East 11th Avenue after Columbus Police located a trail of blood and shell casings in the 400 block of Chittenden Avenue, the report indicates. Garrett was shot in the face according to a report from NBC4 in Columbus. Garrett is expected to recover and local police have not provided any information on a suspect.
