
The Ohio State defensive lineman suffered a non-lethal gunshot wound to his face after a dispute on campus. Ohio State football players are still on campus taking classes like every other student despite not preparing for a Fall football season like they normally would be. Unfortunately, Haskell Garrett, a defensive tackle for the Buckeyes was shot last night while on campus. Garrett suffered a non-lethal gunshot to his cheek late last night according to 10TV. Apparently Garrett was shot around 12:30 am at the 400 block of Chittenden Ave near 11th avenue. It’s unclear was precipitated the shooting. The good news is that Garrett is in stable condition and is expected to recover. This would be a devastating blow for any program to have a player seriously injured by gun violence.
