Ohio State Football: 2020 stat projections for Buckeyes in the NFL


Ohio State football players tend to put up big numbers in the NFL, so let’s take a look at what those numbers might look like in 2020. Last year, two former Buckeye wide receivers led their respective teams in receiving yards and touchdowns: Michael Thomas for the New Orleans Saints (1,725 yards, 9 TDs – tied for first) and Terry McLaurin for the then-named Washington Redskins (919 yards, 7 TDs). On the defensive side, San Francisco 49ers DE Nick Bosa led all rookies with 9 sacks and added 16 tackles for loss, while picking up his first Pro Bowl appearance and AP Defensive Rookie of the Year honors along the way. However, Thomas, McLaurin, and Bosa are certainly not the only Ohio State alums making a major difference in the NFL.
