
It was supposed to be a Women for Trump meet-up. But at times a gathering of a little more than 100 in the president’s Ohio campaign headquarters Tuesday — at least three quarters of whom were not wearing masks — sounded more like rally against Gov. Mike DeWine. It was just the latest goofy chapter as the 2020 presidential campaign passed the traditional Labor Day kickoff in a most untraditional election year. Usually by this point in the campaign season, Ohio voters have gotten dozen of visits from the major party candidates and running mates.
