Big Ten football is coming, and from what we’ve seen so far, it can’t return soon enough: Buckeye Talk Podcast


COLUMBUS, Ohio — At what point will the rest of college football thank the Big Ten for coming back this fall? The Big 12 is a dumpster fire, with Oklahoma already tripping out of the gate, Texas suffering from an acute allergy to defense and Oklahoma State plodding along. The SEC has already seen defending national champion LSU get boat-raced at home by a former Stanford quarterback running space cadet Mike Leach’s air raid offense. Georgia trailed Arkansas 7-5 at halftime in Saturday’s opener, leading to about a billion “Boy I bet the Bulldogs wish they still had Justin Fields” tweets. Texas A&M limped to a 17-12 victory over the noted scholars at Vanderbilt. The ACC is still the ACC, and until someone shows that it can actually beat Clemson it remains a sub-par conference.
