COLUMBUS, Ohio — The last remaining bit of clarity on what kind of team Ohio State football will take into the 2020 season has apparently been answered. Ohio State coach Ryan Day told the Buckeye Roundtable radio show Monday night that the Buckeyes’ only opt-outs — Shaun Wade and Wyatt Davis — will not encounter any NCAA issues to return to the team. Both had already returned to practice. “Wyatt got great news and Shaun’s good to go,” Day said. “It’s great to have those guys back.” That expected news means Ohio State’s roster has not changed at all since before the pandemic. Preseason and current No. 1 Clemson also lost no players to opt-outs. Neither did Alabama, which moved up to OSU’s No. 2 spot while the Buckeyes worked through the Big Ten’s schedule purgatory.
