Reid Carrico is officially an All-American. The Ironton (Ohio) linebacker and Ohio State commit was presented with his All-American Bowl jersey this week and he will play in January’s game in San Antonio on January 2nd. Ironton High School has never had a player participate in the game and that part of the state has rarely had players be recognized on the national level and Carrico is honored by the opportunity.. “It’s huge,” he said. “When somebody from the 740 or Southeast Ohio like me or Joe Burrow or somebody like that gets an opportunity like this, it’s big because it doesn’t happen very often.
