Ohio State is a program that recruits well out of high school and does a good job of developing their recruits into top players in college football. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t times when the Buckeyes need to grab a transfer player to help fill a spot. In recent years, names such as Justin Fields, Jonah Jackson and Kendall Sheffield have all transferred in to the program and had success. Trey Sermon made do the same this year. The invention of the transfer portal has made it easier for the Scarlet and Gray to find players to fill holes on the depth chart.
