Bucknuts was at the West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West game against Mason (Ohio) on Friday night. It was a match-up between two teams that entered the game in the process of very good seasons – Lakota West was 4-0 and Mason was 4-1 entering the game. Lakota West was methodical in moving to 5-0 with a 21-0 win against Mason. The defense for Lakota West was outstanding both against the run and pass. Leading the way in the secondary for the Firebirds was Ohio State 2022 cornerback commitment Jyaire Brown. In addition to playing cornerback, Brown also returned punts.
