Most casual Ohio State fans don’t know the name Sevyn Banks. But they will. The junior from Florida hasn’t seen too much playing time in his first two seasons with the Buckeyes, but the former four-star prospect is expected to take on a much bigger role in 2020. After playing in 10 games on defense a year ago, Banks is likely to step into a starting spot on the Scarlet and Gray depth chart this season following the departures of Jeff Okudah and Damon Arnette to the NFL. Banks, alongside returning starter and another potential first-round NFL Draft pick Shaun Wade, hopes to be next in a growing line of star cornerbacks Ohio State has produced.
