COLUMBUS, Ohio — If you would’ve asked Zen Michalski in January where he’d be in nine months, being the 20th commit in Ohio State football’s 2021 recruiting class wouldn’t have crossed his mind. He was still a junior at Floyd Central High School in Floyds Knobs, Ind. coming off of his first year of playing offensive tackle. In his mind, recruiting didn’t start until your senior season. That’s why he didn’t start uploading highlight films to Hudl until this year. He was shocked to see the number of views go into the thousands, and he didn’t understand why. Then came an Indiana State offer that those around him urged him to jump on. There was no way he could get any better than that.
