Ohio State could have one of the most talented corps of wide receivers in the country this season. The group will be somewhat young, but extremely explosive and deep. We filmed the Buckeyes’ wideouts catching passes at Saturday’s practice at Ohio Stadium, and you catch watch our video above. Junior Chris Olave returns as the Buckeyes’ starting “Z” receiver. In 2019, Olave had 49 receptions for 849 yards (17.3 yards per catch) and 12 touchdowns. His yardage and TD totals led the team. Sophomore Garrett Wilson will be the starting slot receiver this year after an impressive true freshman season in which he was the top backup WR on the team. Wilson, who was ranked as the No. 2 WR and the No. 2o overall recruit in the country in the 2019 class, hauled in 30 receptions for 432 yards (14.4) and five touchdowns last year.
