Ohio State football coach Ryan Day on Dwayne Haskins' benching: ‘He’s going to get through this’


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State coach Ryan Day said Dwayne Haskins’ record-setting Buckeyes career came without much adversity. That has not been the case for Haskins in the NFL. Only four games into his second season with the Washington Football Team, Haskins has been benched and demoted to third string. Day, who spent two seasons as quarterbacks coach with the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers under Chip Kelly, knows the NFL’s cutthroat approach toward the position.
