COLUMBUS, OH — Ohio’s surge of new COVID-19 cases continued Friday. Over the past 24 hours, health officials have confirmed 1,840 new COVID-19 cases among Ohioans, a multi-month high. The Buckeye State has averaged 1,119 new COVID-19 cases per day over the past three weeks. Gov. Mike DeWine has been urging Ohioans to continue following health and safety guidelines, like wearing a mask in public and keeping at least 6 feet of distance between yourself and another person when out and about.
