COLUMBUS, Ohio — Corey Dennis isn’t having an ideal first year as Ohio State football’s quarterback’s coach. His list of positives includes having one of the two Heisman Trophy favorites in his room as a second-year starter on a team expected to compete for a National Championship. But while monitoring that, he’s also trying to prepare Justin Fields’ successor without two of the three candidates not having the luxury of the spring practices they left high school six months early for.
