COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s best chance of finishing the season that is scheduled to begin Oct. 24 comes from diligence against the coronavirus threat — both inside and outside the program. The Ohio Department of Health reached out to a couple of former Buckeyes for help raising awareness on continuing with COVID-19 prevention practices. Former coaches Urban Meyer and Jim Tressel — both of whom won national championships at Ohio State — ask Ohio residents to continue wearing masks, practicing social distancing and washing their hands. In the 30-second ad, Meyer and Tressel stand several feel apart, holding their Ohio State facemasks.
