Ohio State had 14 freshmen that enrolled early in January. Two freshmen who did not enroll early were defensive backs Lathan Ransom and Cam Martinez. Ransom was mentioned by head coach Ryan Day as a player who might help the Buckeyes immediately at the safety position. Martinez is playing cornerback, which is a position he had never played until coming to OSU. But word around the program is he is also turning heads.
