
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football will have all of its captains on the field for Saturday’s season opener against Nebraska. Sixth-year senior linebacker Justin Hilliard had been listed as a game-time decision. But the first-year captain was in full uniform and seemed to be going through warm-ups without restriction. Hilliard played big roles in run-heavy situations last season, particularly in two games against Wisconsin. He may be needed today, at least for depth, against a Nebraska team that rushed for 184 yards against the Buckeyes last season. Pete Werner, Tuf Borland and Baron Browning are expected to start at linebacker. Defensive tackle Jaden McKenzie, the other player listed as a game-time decision, was also in uniform and warming up.
