Ohio State linebacker commitment Reid Carrico led Ironton (Ohio) to a 17-7 win over West Lafayette (Ohio) Ridgewood Saturday night as the Tigers punched their ticket to the Division V state final four. With Carrico and his teammates in the Ohio state playoff final four that makes four Ohio State 2021 commitments that will be playing in the final four next weekend. Carrico joins Massillon Washington wide receiver Jayden Ballard, Cincinnati LaSalle defensive back Jaylen Johnson, and 2022 Kettering Alter linebacker C.J. Hicks as future Buckeyes who are headed to the final four. Ballard and Johnson will play in the Division II state final four and Hicks will play in the Division III final four. Carrico led the charge for the Ironton defense on Saturday night, a defense that held Ridgewood to just 121 total yards including just 83 rushing yards.
