COLUMBUS, Ohio – Jalon Walker of Salisbury High School in North Carolina has narrowed down his options again, and Ohio State football has made the cut. The nation’s No. 41 overall player and the No. 2 outside linebacker trimmed his top 10 to six on Friday, including the Buckeyes alongside Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia and North Carolina. Along with the Buckeyes, Walker kept Auburn, Georgia and his hometown teams Clemson and North Carolina in the hunt and added Alabama. Walker’s strong relationship with linebackers coach Al Washington and the Buckeye culture is why he was “very interested” in the Ohio State to begin with.
