Ohio State basketball debuts at No. 23 in the preseason Associated Press Top 25 Poll


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball is ranked as the No. 23 team in the preseason Associated Press Top 25 Poll. The Buckeyes finished the 2019-20 season with a 20-15 record — 11-9 in the Big Ten — and No. 19 in the final poll before the season was shut down by the coronavirus. They return a team that looks much different than the past three years under coach Chris Holtmann now that Kaleb Wesson is off to the NBA. The strength of the roster is in its wing players, with the addition of transfer Justice Sueing and Seth Towns along with the return of E.J. Liddell.
