CLEVELAND, Ohio — Demetrius “Mechie” Johnson Sr. had the “it factor” when it came to basketball. He was on a path that could include hearing the NBA commissioner say his name on draft day. Then he injured his knee, and that dream was over. Then came along his son Demetrius Johnson Jr., better known as Meechie. Meechie has the ‘it factor’ too.
