NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Minnesota Vikings have released veteran offensive lineman Pat Elflein. The 26-year-old offensive lineman was a third-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. Elflein was a standout performer early on in Minnesota, but he’s dealt with injuries as of late. He suffered a thumb injury and was placed on injured reserve in September. Elflein was set to be activated this weekend, but he’s been released. “The veteran now goes on waivers.
